We understand that not everyone wants to stay on the beaten path and simply see Belize from a visitor’s perspective; that some prefer to delve deeper, learn, engage with communities, and travel with purpose. By connecting travel experiences with TIDE programming, we have created the perfect platform from which to do this.
Located in one of the most pristine regions of Mesoamerica, TIDE’s programs span the landscape; from hiking through dense tropical forests to track the majestic jaguar; to learning to SCUBA dive to monitor the impacts of climate change on vibrant coral reefs; to meeting communities to measure the importance of local environmental challenges on their diverse needs, our participants connect and experience Belize in a way most travelers can’t.
